How Positive Are You, Really? 12/07/20
I have a question for you,
How positive are you? Really?
This is not an attack. I’m not calling you a sad-sack or a weeping Witch or, like we say where I’m from, a sourpuss.
Being negative is a part of life sometimes. It is part of the journey that you will inevitably find yourself on. Although, I see it a lot more than people let on.
This is also not a competition. I’m negative sometimes. Heck, there are days when I question what I am doing. I wonder if all this work is worth it in the end. I do—promise.
I think it is something everyone feels, that old begging dog named negativity.
It will scratch at your legs and nip at your ankles. It’ll keep going, too. Until you give that thing a treat and succumb to that negativity, it will continuously bite and bark until it gets what it wants.
I’m with you. I give in at times, too. I’ll down a whole bag of BBQ chips and watch Practical Magic for the 128th time. Your spiral may be a bit different. But you come out of it. You always do. Every single time you peel yourself off the couch and get back to life.
And I’m going to tell you why you do that.
There is an epic battle going on inside you
I worry about people. I think it is a part of being a Witch—at least, the type of Witch that I am.
When I see suffering, it kills me. Believe me, I get messages every day from people who are not customers who feel comfortable enough to reach out and share their troubles. I do my best to help.
I have often thought about why that is; why people reach out when they are feeling negative. I do not think I am special. I think I just happen to be the person their spirit pointed them toward.
Eventually, I realized what it was. I understood. And when I did, it changed my entire perspective on being positive or negative.
Your spirit is trying to help you.
Your spirit will do whatever it can to get you to achieve balance in your life. I believe that your spirit knows where you can find relief. Most people, unfortunately, just do not have the skills to follow that voice.
There is a battle happening between your spirit and your biology. Which one do you think you should listen to?
Your spirit is the part of you that knows
Your spirit knows. It knows where to point you. It knows exactly where you need to be headed. All this communication between the mind and the spirit will happen instantly. At least it will for the people who listen.
You get feelings, right? You get those little inklings that tell you not to do something. Or the ones that tell you to barrel forth into the unknown. That is the spirit. You know what will bring positivity into your life.
You must listen to the correct voice.
That’s not to say doing that will eliminate all suffering. Suffering is a part of this existence. I think it is baked in to some extent. But, you can minimize it by listening to your spirit.
It is speaking right now. It is what brought you to this newsletter. Your spirit brought you to your practice. It brought us together.
So, how positive are you?
I repeat the question to make the point. How positive are you? I think you can reformulate that question into: “How much do you listen to your spirit?”
The answers to both questions will follow a similar pattern.
Your spirit will lead you to the land of positivity. It will bring you to a place where all you see is light. Don’t you want to be there? In that place that seems like heaven on earth? The realm of Angels and Khodam and the beings of light?
As humans, we do not have the willpower to listen every single time. We just don’t. But we can listen more often than we ignore. We can be ahead on the scoreboard. We can put our spirit first, at least.
See how positive you really are. Take a tally of how much you listen to that voice inside you that will always steer you right. And if the light is not winning, change that.
I think you will be amazed at how quickly you see your life change.

Your Mind is Your Own 11/30/20
Dear the mind interpreting the symbols we call words and letters,
Your mind is yours and yours only. Although, like many things in Witchcraft, there is a dichotomy to this.
A dichotomy is a basic push and pull—it is the idea that there are two factors that will constantly be at battle with one another. And I will get to why your mind is not only yours down below.
I get a lot of messages from people everyday about outside forces trying to influence their thoughts. Whether it is state-run propaganda pouring out of their screens, their abusive partners, or a negative entity like a demon. I hear it all. And I want to write a newsletter to all of you to tell you it is the last defense.
The soul or spirit resides in your noggin. Up there behind those wondrous eyes and your smeller is the essence of who you are. I was recently speaking with a medium who is quite famous (he appeared on the television show The Doctors to help them successfully solve a police case. Some of you may know him as the Psychic Lawyer.)
Anyway, he reiterated that the brain is the holder of the spirit. This made me think of everyone who sends me these messages.
Your mind, like your spirit, is your own.
You do not waste something so unique on unoriginal or intrusive energies.
Here’s why:
Even if you do not think so, you are easily corruptible.
So, instead of going outward here, I will go inward and tell a quick story about myself.
Some of you may have been around long enough to have heard me talk about my teacher. What you may not know is that I refuse to even speak to the man now.
When I first began my practice, we did all kinds of things: hours of sun-gazing, days and weeks of fasting, and hours upon hours of meditation to where I could no longer tell the difference between waking and sleeping.
For some of you younger Witches out there, that may sound fun. It is not. While it did help me build discipline around my practice, I was irreparably harmed by this stint in my life. I won’t go into details because most of it is health related, but I am not as whole as I once was.
This man convinced me that all this was necessary to have a deep spiritual practice.
I am here to tell you it is not.
You may be thinking that “I would never fall for such a thing.” And maybe you wouldn’t. The point of that story is to use your brain. Think before you act.
But, also remember one more thing:
There is a collective consciousness that we are all a part of
It may sound like I am contradicting myself here, but remember that everything you think sends out a certain energy. I went into this a little bit in last week’s blog post about the Morphic Field, but to simplify: We all exist within a field of energy that determines our physical, mental, and spiritual makeup.
So, you may notice the Greek God Atlas behind these very words. I put him there because it is the best metaphor for what I am talking about.
The way I view our minds is that they are our own, but what we think ripples out into the universe. Like Atlas with the weight of the world on his shoulders, we, too, hold that weight within our minds.
Do not let anyone corrupt your mind because if it happens, it will make it more likely for others to be corrupted. We, like Atlas, have this responsibility.
If you knew every thought you had depended on the health of the entire world, would you think differently?
Don’t let this weight hold you down.
The point of this lesson is to understand how important your mind is to you and the world, but do not become afraid of your own thoughts. If you do that, you will be no better than the people who persecute Witches. Those that kill the Witch, fear their power.
Like Atlas, stand up with this weight. Understanding does not equal burden.
I want you to be a free mind in this world, untouched by the taint of evil. When you realize how important your thoughts are, you will protect them. Don’t let anyone inside your head. Not even me, although I would never try to do this in the first place.
You have an innate feeling for people or evil entities. You can tell when they are trying to manipulate you. Do not fall prey to their spell. There aren’t enough Witches. We cannot afford to lose any of you!
Set your mind free of these worldly terrors and the weight of the world will feel like a feather.

Do Not Be Afraid of What Draws You 11/23/20
Dear you,
There is a force out there that I know each and every one of you have felt.
I call it the draw.
It goes by many names, attraction, spiritual magnetism, the natural force of temptation.
Whatever you’d like to call it, we know that it is real. I get at least 10 messages a day from someone saying they are “drawn” to some of my items. And I get even more from people who do not understand why they chose a particular vessel or spell.
According to them, “Something just brought them there.”
I don’t advertise. I have a presence on Facebook with the group, but I never offer my services there unless someone asks. I do not abuse search engines to get my items to show up. Sometimes I get people from word of mouth, but rarely.
And, yet, thousands of people find me.
Why is that?
Your Spirit Will Take You Places
You have a place you need to go.
Somewhere pulls you toward it. Whether or not you will reach this place is up to you.
All you know is that you are being drawn. Something is pulling you to a certain place and certain things.
Rumi, the great poet, call it the “voice that doesn’t use words.”
That “voice” will speak to you. You have felt it before. You will feel it again. And, you may be feeling it now.
Heed that voice.
It has a direction for you.
The Pull of Your Spirit
In a perfect world, we would have no choice but to listen to the draw.
We would all follow the direction of the universe. We would find fulfillment wherever it may lie. We would have what we wanted most dearly.
This world is not perfect. We do not listen most of the time. We listen to biology, propaganda, and, worse, other people. We do not hear the Truth emanating from our spirits.
There is Truth in you. It is in your very design. And when people say that the draw scares them, I think this is what they are afraid of:
The Truth.
Don’t Be Afraid of Yourself
The draw is an element of the self; the spirit.
Whatever draws you to it, follow it. You have no reason to deny your spirit. And if you come up with reasons to deny, try it. Keep denying your spirit. See where it takes you.
Last week’s newsletter was all about not denying the darker side of yourself. This week is about accepting your full self and listening to where your spirit takes you.
Your spirit is you—the deepest you. The you that will continue on long after your meat has ceased motion. Listen to that before you listen to the flesh.
You will never be steered wrong.
Love + Blessings

Is it the light or the dark that draws you? 11/16/20
Hello to both sides of you,
Wait! Look! Your dark side is showing!
Bad jokes aside, there is something that can bring out your dark side. And I wonder what is?
Most people are ashamed of this side of themselves. I understand why, too. Society has told us that certain urges or desires should not exist within a “civilized” human being. If you’re reading this, odds are you are a Witch. You know that “civilization” is the worst thing that ever happened to Witchcraft.
So why should we listen to a word any of these so-called civilized people say?
Look, I am clearly not telling you to go out in public with nothing but your Witch hat on. What I am saying is that we ignore our dark side. And that needs to stop.
Do you really love your darkness? Or is it something you think you should do because you are a Witch?
Bodybuilding On One Side.
Imagine if Arnold Schwarzenegger only built up one side of his body.
That is what most people do in their lives.
Being acquainted with your lighter side does not automatically make you a good person. A lot of times it makes you naive or, worse, weak.
If you are only seeing the light side of yourself, you are likely only seeing the light side of others. This makes you vulnerable. Look for the darkness in people. Sometimes, it is all you will see.
Don’t just build up one side of yourself. Build everything evenly.
Have balance.
The Animal Inside You Needs Fed
When you ignore your dark side, you are ignoring reality. And when you are ignoring reality, you are ignoring the inner psychology and the Magick of duality.
If you’ve read any of my blogs or newsletters, you know I love bridging a connection between science and Magick. If nothing else, it helps prove Magick to those less willing to let their guard down.
When you do not express your dark side, you are failing to perform sublimation.
Sublimation is basically funneling your dark desires and thoughts into something productive. For example, imagine if Jeffery Daumer took his desire to kill and have slaves and put it into his work at that chocolate factory where he was employed. He wouldn’t be in jail AND he’d at least be floor manager.
When we fail to sublimate for our dark side, we fail to feed ourselves and our karma properly.
Doing good things can still feed that shadowy side of us.
The Magick of the Darkness
For whatever reason (which I’ll get to in a second) human beings have the tendency to use Black Magick wrong.
I get it. Trust me. Using Black Magick can make you feel like a million bucks, ten feet tall and bullet-proof, and invulnerable.
While I am talking about using your base instincts, or the part of you that cannot be civilized, don’t fall prey to this fallacy. While I love Black Magick and practice it regularly, use it on those that deserve it.
Again, ignoring your light for only your dark is still focusing on one side too much. Let both influence each other.
Don’t be afraid of the less human part of yourself.
Take inspiration from your emotions. If you feel darkness overcoming you, channel that into something that will benefit you. You may want to put it into Revenge Magick. And do not listen to the people that say it is not up to you to judge others. You have a sense of right and wrong. And you know when someone deserves punishment.
Channel it somewhere—anywhere! Whatever you do, do not lock it up inside you. That is stuff that causes cancer.
You owe it to yourself to express the dark part of you, as well as the light. Build up both sides. Be a complete human being.
The light and the dark will move through you.
Accept them both and be complete.

It is okay to feel disenchanted. 11/09/2020
Hello, I want to enchant you,
Disenchantment feels a little different for everyone.
Sometimes you feel sad. Sometimes you feel angry. And, sometimes you have no feeling at all.
To be clear, by disenchantment I mean you are not feeling Magick in your life. At times it may seem to flutter away like a butterfly never to return. I want you to know that is okay. Heck, even your beloved, newsletter-writing, haunted doll loving Witch gets a little disenchanted sometimes.
Surprising! I know 😉
The truth is, life can be a son-of-demon sometimes. And that is giving a bad name to sons of demons.
Because I see a little more disenchantment than I do usually, I wanted to use this newsletter to give you some tips on how to get out of that rut.
Going through the motions.
It may seem that sitting down to perform a ritual when you feel disenchanted is a mistake. Maybe it even feels wrong.
Trust me when I say, nothing could be further from the truth.
Sitting down to meditate, or perform a simple spell, or even a good cleansing will do you some good. Go through those motions even if you do not feel it.
When you do this, it makes your brain react positively to your actions. Have you ever heard that simply smiling makes you happy? The same principle works here.
Keep doing the same things you were doing before the disenchantment set in.
Let it have its time.
Sometimes these things come in phases. And that is perfectly okay.
Mood is like a circadian rhythm for some people. During certain months they feel on top of Witch mountain and others they feel like they’re using their broom to crawl out of a Magick-less pit.
So, let yourself have this time of disenchantment.
You are not always going to feel like you can kick off on your broom. Sometimes, you are not going to feel the Magick in your feet. If this is the case, it will likely pass. We do not get to feel positive without the negative close behind.
Modern advertising and propaganda has somehow convinced people that they should be happy 24/7. That is just not the case.
Take a look in your Magick mirror. Gauge your energy. If it is low, make a note of it. Then, get back to being a Witch.
Cleanse your space.
I know I mentioned this above in the “Going through the motions” section, but this is a little different.
Your disenchantment could come from a malaise of negative energy in your home. This can happen for SO many reasons. And, no, it does not mean you have a demon.
Sometimes, others can leave behind negative energy that sticks around long after you kick these negative people out of your house. Sometimes it can blow in like a wind. And other times society may be in such a bad place that the negative energy floats through the air like a pandemic (Ah-hem).
Don’t be afraid to do an extra cleansing. It may be the root of your problems.
Don’t be disenchanted by disenchantment.
Magick will outlast your bad mood. Trust me, I deal with people who put me in a bad mood a lot. And in that state, I do not feel Magick. I feel fury.
But as soon as I calm down, I feel the Magick flow back into me like a nearly dead tree drinking in the first rain after a drought.
Everyone deals with disenchantment differently. The point is to deal with it or ignore it. Don’t let it ruin your practice. Either go through the motions, let it pass, or do a cleansing. Whatever you choose, do not sit there and collect rust.
Magick wants to flow through you.
You just have to let it.
Love + Blessings

You’re Crazy Until You’re Right 11/02/2020
Hello, my name is Laci and I’m a little crazy,
This newsletter is going to be a little different.
I want to tell a story.
A few years after I began my practice, I used to do some consulting work. Nowadays, I don’t have the patience for travel. Plus, some of the people who requested my help had some REAL problems. I saw everything from child abuse to one case that eventually ended in a murder. After that one, I called it quits on personal consultation.
People react strangely to paranormal interaction. And when those reactions occur, it is sometimes fun to explore them.
So, I wanted to tell you about a woman who was taken over by a demon.
Northern Tennessee, 1995.
I arrived with all my instruments and crystals and ghost busting gear—really, I felt like Bill Murray without the rest of the crew. Plus no vacuum.
I was called at 6 in the morning by a friend of mine who then connected me to this family. I rushed down and arrived by 4 that evening.
The family was small. And young. The mother and father were late twenties and they had a three-year old girl. She was a sweetie.
When I arrived, the family told me something “just felt off.”
I’d heard this before, so I got to work with the cleansing.
One Week Later…
Everything seemed to go according to plan. I did a little sage here, did a little candlework there, and I left the home and the nice family.
Remember answering machines? Yeah, when I got home that evening I saw 6 messages on mine. I clicked the tiny button and listened to a slow rise of panic.
Message 1: “Everything was fine for a couple days and the feeling started again.”
Message 2: “The third day my wife started acting weird. We took her to the hospital, but nothing.”
Message 3: “My wife kicked my daughter. What do I do?”
Message 4: “I had to call the police. [She] bit my little girl.”
Message 5: “Please. You have to come back. Something happened.”
Message 6: “I had to send [my daughter] to my sisters. My wife acted like she wanted to kill her. Will you please come and take a look. I’ll pay you triple.”
Obviously, I went back.
Life isn’t a movie. When I walked in, everything seemed fine. I did not see Reagan spitting up pea soup or a woman with all white eyes climbing the walls.
The wife was just… a little twitchy.
I diagnosed her immediately and the husband’s countenance fell.
“I don’t believe in demons. The only reason I asked you to come here was because my wife suggested it in the first place.”
Clearly, this man had never dealt with the paranormal before. Nor had he considered the possibility that his wife was in pain. After a brief conversation on what to do, he escorted me out.
He called me crazy. Then, I left.
I wish there was a climax to this story, there’s not. But there is a lesson.
Almost a year later, I received a phone call from the man. He apologized profusely and said the obvious: “You were right.”
I am not 100% sure how they eventually solved their problem (I assume Catholicism was involved), but it was nice to hear someone eat their words—I’m not going to lie to you.
You are crazy until you are right. That is the lesson that was taught to me. It is why I am very intent on listening to any of your problems and addressing them appropriately. So, let yourself learn this lesson from me, instead of having someone suffer for close to year for your ego.
Remember that.
People’s problems are not imaginary and if you call upon an expert, take their advice.

How Can Something Infinite Have Limitations? 10/25/2020
Dear You, With Magick in Your Heart,
You are a limitless being.
Your boundaries stretch to the far and wide. Past the seas and mountains. Past the gaseous and magnetic barrier encircling our Mother Earth. And past the bubbling plasma we call stars.
You are limitless. Endless. And infinite.
Yet, you sit there and look at your fingers and toes and see those as your end. You see the finality of your being as the edge of your finger and toenails.
Your reach extends so much farther than that. Everything Magick touches is yours. We have just been convinced to think otherwise.
Your body is simply your Anchor not your Container.
Like 99.99% of people on the planet, you and I were raised to believe that our bodies are the limit of ourselves. I cannot blame you for seeing reality that way.
We were told our brain holds our identities. Our heart holds our feelings. And our body holds all that is us inside it.
That is, if not obvious by now, a generational falsehood.
Your body is where your spirit anchors in this life. It manipulates the world through devices known as arms and legs. It speaks through your tongue and mouth.
But the body is not the end-all, be-all to You.
The Problem with Binary Thinking
Humans tend to think in the binary.
It is how we code computers with all those zeros and ones. It is why relationships are reduced to love and hate. There is good and bad to it, but I would venture that there is more bad than good.
The binary is a false view of our world. There are not two choices, or three, or even a hundred—there are infinite choices.
We are not spirits and bodies. We are spirits and bodies and everything else all at once. We are not “just” anything. And we are not “just” everything.
There is no limit to you.
There is everything + you. Not you, individualized, and then the rest of the world.
Protectionism and Those That Keep You Inside a False Mindset
Protectionism is the idea that the people who have much want to protect the things they have from getting into the hands of others. It is the reason there are Kings, Dictators, and Presidents.
Power over reality tends to contract into the hands of a few. Look up the Pareto Principle to learn more about that.
The problem with these protectionists is that the beliefs they espouse get into the hands of people who were never taught to think for themselves.
You have been taught to think for yourself. It is why you are here, reading my newsletter. You know more about the true reality of our world than the average person.
You can see the people around you being sucked into these false ideas of binary choice and limitation.
You are unlimited. And you know that.
What does knowing you are unlimited actually accomplish?
I get it. Saying things like that sounds nice, but is there any meat to it? In other words, how do you actually live as a limitless being in a limited world?
How do take this information into practice? Is it practical information or a fluffy, sugary idea I read on some Witch’s newsletter?
Believe me, I understand the sentiment. You hear things like this from birth: “You can be whatever you want”, “You can do whatever you put your mind to”, and “Believe in yourself.”
Once you get older, you think it’s all hogwash.
And here is how you speak to yourself: “There are powers above me that are keeping me from being the Witch I want to be.”
Sure, there will be roadblocks on your way to actualizing your limitlessness, but it does not mean you are not an infinite being.
When you get past one, two, or five of those roadblocks, you will see your limitations were only in your mind. You put them there. These outside figures—you gave them power! Sure, they told you they had power, but you took their words as truth.
You have the power. You decide where your limitation is. Hopefully, you will see that limitation the same way you now see your childhood imaginary friend: thought up by someone without a complete view of the world.
Love + Blessings
